St. Vartan Park visitors can borrow and donate books at the park's Little Free Library, located inside the northeast entrance of the park. St. Vartan Park Conservancy serves as steward of the kiosk.
St. Vartan Park’s Little Free Library is used on July 7, 2022
The park’s Little Free Library was funded in part through a bake sale led by parents and children of local elementary schools P.S. 281 (The River School) and P.S. 116 (Mary Lindley Murray).

In the fall of 2022, two organizations — the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association and Trusted Media Brands publishing group Reader’s Digest — each donated many boxes of family-friendly books to St. Vartan Park Conservancy. The Conservancy used the generous offerings for continued replenishment of the Little Free Library.
